a brief hello
I'm a scientist. Is that exciting enough? Does anyone care? Do people realise that scientists are the same as everyone else. Except they have this boffin thing labelled on them. I can tell you straight up, most scientists have no special brain power, and are in my opinion, generally more socially inept than most. The truth is, the job is getting me down. Not enough time, not enough money, too many potential problems, too many people stealing my ideas. Here's the problem: I want to do experiments (what you think of as science, ie research) but I spend all my time managing people and designing their work. And get this; scientists earn the bottom of the pile money wise. Anyone interested in this?
